Static and Dynamic QR Codes differ as follows:

Static QR Codes
Firstly, these are permanent. This means one cannot edit the content once the QR Code has been generated. A Static QR Code can contain information such as URLs, text, contact information, and Wifi password.

Second, Static QR Codes are not trackable. This means you cannot track how many people have scanned your QR Code which is specially useful in use cases such as promotional campaigns.

Dynamic QR Codes

Unlike Static QR Codes, Dynamic QR Codes are editable. You can edit the data encoded anytime you want while your QR Code will remain the same. This means you don't need to print the QR Codes again.

Also, Dynamic QR Codes are trackable. You can see scan analytics for the QR Code in your account.
